I’ve had this post on draft for about four months now – the length of time I’ve been listening to She Keeps Bees. That’s criminal, I know. But then I did decide to have a holiday that turned out to last longer than expected.

Anyhow, She Keeps Bees are one of my new favourites. Over the summer I’ve been spotifying them…gave up on Lastfm….and telling just about everyone to check them out.

It’s weird since I gave up on proper music journalism I’ve found bands worth talking about. The wonder of having a break from the music industry!!

She Keeps Bees are a duo from the US and sound similar to The White Stripes, Chrissie Hynde and PJ Harvey and yet not quite like any of those. They have just completed a little tour but hopefully back to us soon.
