Alice Magazine loves a bit of psychic and medium photography. This photo from The National Media Museum apparently shows three people and two spirits. We are guessing the medium is the guy at the front.

To start you will need a heart-shaped or indeed any shaped box you wish. You can get some very pretty, ready made boxes for decorating at major craft retailers but you might want to go down the Alice Magazine route which is much cheaper and better for the environment. Keep any old boxes – shoe boxes, hat boxes and chocolate boxes work best – clean them off and line the insides with felt or velvet.

Take some old glossy magazines that you have been keeping because you love magazines and can’t bear to part with them. Or you are just an old hoarder like ourselves.

Now you need to have a think about the material and not material items, people, places and situations you might want to attract into your life. This could be a new house or a pair of shoes. It might be a new relationship or a tranquil holiday. Usually people want to attract more money. Scan those magazines for any images that may reflect what you want in your life. Cut them out really carefully and using a glue/water paste or craft decoupage medium, use these images to decorate the outside of your box. Alternatively you could paint it or use photographs of your own.

Now that you have your box you will need to search out physical items that represent the things that you are looking to attract. Examples of what you could include are:

?  coins or paper money
?  hearts or romantic icons
?  encouraging words on flash cards such as “positive”, “outgoing” etc
?  photos from the past (like perhaps when you were at the weight you really want to be right now?)
?  a mini model house

The possibilities are endless and very personal so choose well.

Don’t seal this box. Put it somewhere that you can see it and open it as often as you would like. Open it often and touch all the things. Add and takeaway as necessary. Your desired items, people and places will turn up quicker than you might expect! Give it a try. Some people dismiss this as smoke and mirrors but there are many scientists today who base their research around the Law of Attraction so you are in good company.

I don’t profess to know a lot about Physics – it was one of my poor performance subjects at school and yet now my main reading material is concerned with it.

Quantum Physics and Metaphysics are important I think because they provide radical new ways of thinking that most people can grasp in basic form and utilise in their everyday lives.

Obviously I won’t be posting my new theories on the subject as I am not a scientist! But I will be posting my thoughts and opinions on news articles from this area of science as well as book reviews and recommendations, that kind of thing.
