Although my desk is currently undergoing renovation and hopefully soon a lick of paint, my lap is considered a worthy substitute until said work is completed. So, from my “lap” the news is thus.

Firstly I have upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress which is a task that can usually be put off for a while but can never be completely outrun – I did it this morning and no major problems have reared up having been tested in a few browsers themes and formatting are all intact. However, things can go wrong after upgrades and if you are trying to view the site and it’s all upside down please email me: info@alicemagazine.co.uk with the details.

Secondly I have added social bookmarking tools to every post so that if you come across an article you like you can share it easily with others on many of the major networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Digg etc. Whilst I have provided the main ones there is scope to add more and if I have requests for other sites to be added I will consider expansion.

I will be around the site today moving, testing and adding things. If you can’t access the site because of my meddling please wait five minutes and try again.
